Donna Mullins, a second year trainee at Fieldings Porter has won The Bolton Law Society Trainee of the Year 2006. This is an annual award that is open to all Trainee Solicitors in Bolton. Trainees are invited to apply to be considered for the award and have to demonstrate a number of the key skills of a solicitor including academic qualifications, legal knowledge, sound legal judgment, communication skills, enthusiasm and dedication to the role. Applications for the award are considered and judged by committee members of Bolton Incorporated Law Society and the winner is invited as a guest to the Law Society Annual Dinner where they are presented with the Tom Taylor trophy and a cash prize kindly donated by Mr Taylor.

 

Donna says; “It is a great honour to win the award of Trainee of the Year 2006. Fieldings Porter has provided me with a wide variety of work during my training contract which has been an excellent grounding for my future career in law and I am looking forward to qualifying in September as a solicitor in the firm. ”
