Where/when you studied: Batchelors in Pure Maths from Glasgow University on leaving school (2000).

Post Graduate Diploma in Regulatory Occupational Health and Safety from Warwick University in 2011.

Started an LLB (Hons) with the Open University in 2017.

Professional expertise before joining the firm: 16 years as HM Inspector with Health and Safety Executive. Carrying out proactive inspections, investigating workplace accidents including fatalities. Applying legislation, taking enforcement decisions and presenting prosecutions in Magistrates' Courts and preparing Crown Court cases.

When you joined the firm: 1st June 2021

Department responsibilities (within the firm): Trainee Solicitor with preparation of all aspects of health and safety cases in the courts or coroner's courts and assisting on some criminal defence cases and civil and commercial disputes.
