Is ‘Veyo’ set to revolutionise the conveyancing process?

The Law Society and Mastek (UK) Limited have worked together to develop a new conveyancing portal.   The intention is to give the home-buying process more transparency, where all aspects involved in the legal transfer of a property could be completed online.  Thus allowing professionals to communicate better with each other, clients and other parties.

Veyo will enable conveyancers and clients to communicate via a discussion tab on the portal.

Clients will also be able to go online to review documents such as search results, check the progress of their sale or purchase, and also view the status of other parties in their housing chain.

We are awaiting an implementation date if it were to go live and be applied across the sector. We shall endeavour to keep you posted!
