David Porter

Consultant. David was a First and Second Tier Judge in the Tax Chamber. He advises on property, commercial, tax and VAT matters. He has considerable experience advising charities. He is Chairman of the Provincial/ Walsh Trust for Bolton and has worked with Charities at ground level, as a volunteer, secretary, Chairman, Trustee and a Director over the last 45 years.

Hobbies: DIY specifically refurbishing properties including brick laying and construction, joinery, fitting bathrooms, kitchens etc, Guitar, Bridge, Charities, Writing, Theatre, Opera, music, golf  and gardening

Favourite food: Malaysian

Favourite film: Dam Busters. I was camping in the Lake Districts when the Lancaster Bombers flew over our tent on the lakeside near Wray Castle (the Monar dam?)
