Pedestrian claims

If in the last 3 years you have been involved in a pedestrian accident that has caused injury to you, you may be entitled to compensation as the law states you have up to 3 years from the date of personal injury to make a claim.

A pedestrian accident means an accident involving a person on foot and a vehicle. It must be proven in pedestrian accident claims that the injury sustained was someone else’s fault. Injuries sustained as a result of a pedestrian accident range from trips and falls to serious injuries and fatalities.

The numbers of pedestrian accident claims are becoming increasingly more common, including pedestrian accidents involving cyclists. It has been stated that the number of pedestrians left seriously injured after being hit by cyclists has doubled in the past decade according to the telegraph analysis of official data.
