Racially or religiously aggravated offences

Racially or religiously aggravated offences are offences which are committed because of the victims racial or ethic background, or because of their religious beliefs or lack of religious beliefs. 

There main racially or religiously aggravated offences and they are –

  • Assault
  • Assault occasioning actual bodily harm 
  • Wounding 
  • Criminal damage –to the victim or their families property 
  • Disorderly behaviour 
  • Intention behaviour 
  • Threatening behaviour 
  • Harassment 
  • Fear of violence 

Joint enterprise

Joint enterprise is where someone may be liable for a crime committed by another. For someone to be liable for joint enterprise
